Malaysia is at the center of South East Asia in more ways than one. It is that way geographically, with Thailand in the north and Singapore in the south.
Malaysia as a country has great weather and doesn’t experience the earthquakes that the surrounding countries tend to do as it is outside the ‘ring of fire’ as it is called. It is divided into East and West Malaysia, with the western part consisting of all the states on the Peninsula and the eastern part consisting of the states of Sarawak and Sabah which is located in Borneo.
